Local Football and Railway Memorabilia

Rare official, informative philatelic memorabilia of local football and railways, with three official first day covers and one 1980 Post Office PHQ postcard of the Rocket steam locomotive.
With a 1980 Railway Benham FDC, celebrating 150 years since the first modern steam locomotive, the Rocket was in service. It is post marked Liverpool then Manchester to Benham(A.Buckingham Ltd) in Hythe, Kent.
And a Liverpool v Manchester City 4th August 2019 Community Shield match FDC.
Also a 10th August 2003 Dawn FDC of Manchester City v Barcelona with rare Manchester postmarks on the 17th Commonwealth Games Manchester 2002 1st class stamp, Isle of Man postage stamps and Barcelona team sticker stamp.

1992-1996 Sheffield Wednesday Hillsborough signed Football Pennant when the club was in the Premier League. (Only 3 years after their 1989 Hillsborough football tradegy.)

Back of pendant has 4 rare, authentic hand-signed signatures from the club members or players at the time, including from the previous World Cup England player and club legend Chris Waddle, and also from club goalkeeper Kevin Pressman. Pennant size approx is 30cm by 30cm wide.

Special Picturesque Porcelain Dolls

Although these 3 porcelain dolls are not by themselves pictures, we have included them here, as they are mounted on improvised display stands, have undoubted picturesque appeal and also historical dress interest. They show an accurate attire for upper middle class ladies and young girls of the Victorian and the later Edwardian era, when girls wore their hair up in polite society around the age of 16.

These highly detailed period collectable dolls, are wearing Victorian green velvet, Edwardian silver satin and Victorian white silk dress, with undergarments such as a netted underskirt and shoes.

They are pictured in front of one of our pictures, depicting people dining during the same period.

The lady dolls stand approx.48.5cm(19 inches) tall.
